CreagerCole Communications is proud to have placed a moving op-ed in the February 23 edition of The Wisconsin State Journal on behalf of our public relations client, Family Equality Council. In the op-ed, Family Equality Council Outspoken Generation member, Anna Frackman tells her story of growing up in Wisconsin with two mothers and the hardships her family suffered because the state refused to recognize their family. The commentary clearly argues the importance of marriage equality.
Family Equality Council connects, supports, and represents the three million parents who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer in this country today and their six million children of all ages. The organization is changing attitudes and policies to ensure that all families are respected, loved, and celebrated—including families with parents who are LGBTQ. The organization’s Outspoken Generation Program bolsters the children of LGBTQ parents and gives its young advocates a greater ability to share their vital stories and help create family equality not only legally, but in society at large.
CreagerCole is honored to be FEC’s PR firm and we look forward to securing many additional media placements in the months ahead.
