CreagerCole Communications was thrilled to get a shout-out from the New York Mets for organizing a group 25 people to attend the first ever LGBT Night at a major sports venue in New York City… Pride Night at Citi Field. Our name appeared on the jumbotron at Citi Field in front of thousands of Mets fans. Five-thousand of those fans were LGBT people and our allies. The phenomenal world renowned pianist  Sara Davis Buechner played her rendition of “Meet the Mets” prior to the game.

Big congratulations to the New York Mets for being the first to host such an event in NYC. Further thanks to the entire LGBT Network team for their extensive efforts in coordinating this gathering. And kudos to Billy Bean, Major Leage Baseball’s VP, Social Responsibility & Inclusion, for his tireless work for LGBT inclusion in baseball. Billy gave an inspiring speech before the game and threw out the first pitch to start the game out right. Bravo Billy!
