Since October of 2012 CreagerCole Communications has worked to increase media visibility for the group: T’ruah: The Rabbinic Call for Human Rights (formerly Rabbis for Human Rights-North America). T’ruah is an organization of rabbis from all streams of Judaism that acts on the Jewish imperative to respect and protect the human rights of all people.
Most notably our media relations efforts led to over 200 media impressions for the group’s compelling and persuasive “Choose Love” subway ad campaign in New York and Washington D.C.; the T’ruah effort countered Pamela Geller’s highly offensive ad campaign that denigrated the Muslim community.
T’ruah’s ad read: “In the choice between love and hate, choose love. Help stop bigotry against our Muslim neighbors.” This New York Times story placement we secured was nationally and internationally syndicated by the
Associated Press. Dozens of other outlets also picked up the story, carrying T’ruah’s vital human rights message to millions of readers across the globe.
CreagerCole Communications continues to provide media relations services for Truah. You can read many of the stories and op-eds we have placed here.
It has been
an honor to work with T’ruah’s Executive Director, Rabbi Jill Jacobs and the entire team of dedicated individuals who do so much to make the world a better place. We look forward to continuing our media outreach on T’ruah’s behalf throughout 2013.
